Learning to be the “you” you want to be.
During your days with us, you’ll be attending classes and group therapy sessions to help you make the most of your recovery. Here’s what to expect:
Psychotherapy Process Group
Think of this session as your morning cup of coffee: designed to help you prepare for a day of healing with mindfulness, and communication. In this group, your primary therapist will guide you through the processing of your key emotions, helping you gain insight into the goals you have for the day – and for your recovery overall.
Psychoeduation Class
This session helps you build a foundation for recovery through knowledge, awareness, and support. You’ll be learning how to develop coping skills for sustained recovery through the discussion of topics like anger management, co-occurring disorders, health, psychopharmacology, stages of change, and effective communication.
Recovery Skills Class
In this session, you’ll participate in evidence-based practices that examine the relationship between substance use and emotional triggers. You’ll learn to support your own emotional recovery through behavioral therapy techniques such as DBT, CBT, MET, MBS, and other supportive methods that help you be more aware of yourself.
Relapse Prevention Group
This session focuses on strategies that help you avoid returning to substance use or other harmful behaviors after a period of sobriety. You’ll be given the opportunity to share your experiences, set goals, reflect on your progress, and emotionally and spiritually support each other in the ways that feel most helpful to you.
