Supporting Glenview Residents with Compassionate Addiction Care
Glenview, IL is a vibrant suburb located just north of Chicago. Known for its excellent schools, scenic parks like The Grove and Gallery Park, and strong sense of community, Glenview is a place where many residents value health, stability, and family life. When substance use begins to interfere with those priorities, it can feel overwhelming to find the right path forward.

At Rotary Recovery, we provide an outpatient rehab experience that fits seamlessly into the lives of those who call Glenview home. Whether you are commuting to work, taking care of your family, or attending school, our flexible scheduling options and nearby location make it possible to pursue treatment without uprooting your life.

Our mission is simple: provide personalized, evidence-based care in an environment built on trust, dignity, and understanding.

Our Outpatient Programs

We offer a continuum of outpatient care that addresses substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Our programming includes multiple levels of treatment intensity, allowing us to meet clients at their current stage in the recovery journey and support them as their needs evolve.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Our Partial Hospitalization Program is the most structured level of outpatient care we provide. PHP is ideal for individuals who need daily, intensive therapeutic support but do not require inpatient or residential care. Clients in PHP participate in full-day treatment sessions that typically run five days a week.
This program includes individual therapy, group therapy, psychoeducation, life skills training, and wellness activities. It is a valuable option for Glenview residents who are seeking a comprehensive treatment plan without staying overnight in a facility. Many people choose PHP as a first step in outpatient care or as a transition from inpatient treatment.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

The Intensive Outpatient Program provides a step down in intensity from PHP while maintaining a robust therapeutic schedule. IOP typically includes three to five sessions per week and offers a combination of group therapy, individual counseling, and case management.
IOP is well suited for individuals who are working, attending school, or managing family obligations but still need structured support. It can also be used as a step-up in care for those who are struggling to maintain sobriety in a general outpatient setting.
We work closely with our IOP clients to develop individualized treatment plans that promote healing, personal growth, and relapse prevention. This level of care allows for more flexibility while still delivering the tools and accountability necessary for sustained recovery.

General Outpatient Program (OP) and Aftercare

For clients who have completed more intensive treatment or who require less structured support, our General Outpatient Program provides the opportunity to continue therapy on a flexible basis. OP may include weekly or biweekly counseling sessions, group therapy, and educational programming.
Aftercare is a key part of our outpatient continuum. It provides long-term support for maintaining recovery and addressing challenges as they arise. For Glenview clients transitioning from higher levels of care, aftercare helps create a safety net that promotes lasting success and healthy lifestyle changes.
Whether you are beginning your recovery journey or looking to reinforce the progress you have already made, our outpatient and aftercare services can be tailored to meet your goals.

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)

Substance use can lead to complex physical and emotional challenges. For some individuals, withdrawal symptoms and cravings make it difficult to maintain sobriety without medical intervention. That is why we offer Medication-Assisted Treatment as part of our holistic care model.
MAT uses FDA-approved medications to reduce cravings, manage withdrawal symptoms, and support brain stabilization. These medications are administered in conjunction with therapy and under the supervision of our licensed medical team.
We offer MAT for a range of substance use disorders, including opioid addiction, alcohol use disorder, and benzodiazepine dependence. Our team works closely with each client to determine if MAT is appropriate and to monitor progress throughout the treatment process.
By combining medical and behavioral health support, we help clients regain control over their lives and build a solid foundation for recovery.

Trauma-Informed and Evidence-Based Approach

At Rotary Recovery, we understand that trauma often plays a central role in the development of substance use disorders. Our care model is trauma-informed, which means we take into account the emotional, psychological, and social factors that may influence each client’s experience.

Our therapeutic interventions are grounded in the latest research and best practices. We utilize a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness practices.

Our compassionate team of licensed clinicians and support staff is trained to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel respected and empowered. From your first visit, you will know that you are not alone in this journey.

FAQs

Do you accept insurance for outpatient treatment?

Yes, we accept most major commercial insurance plans. Our administrative team is experienced in working with insurance providers and will help you understand your benefits, determine coverage, and complete any required paperwork. We are happy to speak with you directly to explain how your insurance can help cover the cost of treatment. Our goal is to remove as many barriers to care as possible, and that includes financial guidance.

How do I know which program is right for me?

Choosing the right level of care can be confusing, especially if you are new to treatment. That is why we begin each client relationship with a comprehensive intake assessment. During this process, our clinical team will evaluate your physical health, mental health, substance use history, and recovery goals. Based on this assessment, we will recommend the level of care that best aligns with your current needs. This may be PHP, IOP, or general outpatient. We regularly re-assess your progress to ensure that your treatment plan continues to support your success.

Can I work or attend school while receiving treatment?

Yes, many of our clients balance treatment with work, school, or family responsibilities. Our IOP and OP programs are specifically designed with flexibility in mind. We offer day and evening session options to accommodate different schedules. Our team will work with you to find a treatment plan that supports your goals without requiring you to put your life on hold. The ability to maintain daily responsibilities while receiving care is one of the key benefits of outpatient treatment.

Is my family allowed to be involved in the recovery process?

Absolutely. We strongly encourage family involvement whenever possible. Addiction impacts everyone in the family unit, and including loved ones in the treatment process helps promote healing and understanding. Our family therapy sessions are designed to rebuild trust, improve communication, and provide practical tools for managing challenges. We also offer education for families to better understand the nature of addiction and how to best support recovery. Whether you want to attend therapy sessions together or simply stay informed about your loved one's progress, we welcome your involvement.

What types of substances do you treat at Rotary Recovery?

We provide treatment for a wide range of substance use disorders, including but not limited to alcohol, opioids (such as heroin and prescription painkillers), cocaine, benzodiazepines (such as Xanax or Valium), and marijuana. Each treatment plan is customized to the individual and includes both behavioral therapies and, when appropriate, Medication-Assisted Treatment. Our team is experienced in addressing the physical, emotional, and psychological components of substance use, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive care tailored to their unique situation.
